Our Alma Mater: Tecnológico de Monterrey

Tecnológico de Monterrey was founded in 1943 thanks to the vision of Eugenio Garza Sada and a group of businessmen who established a non-profit association called Enseñanza e Investigación Superior, A.C. Tecnológico de Monterrey is a private, non-profit institution independent of and not related to any political party or religious group.

Today, Tecnológico de Monterrey is a multi-campus university system with academic centers in different regions of the country. The prestige that Tecnológico de Monterrey attained from the start, not only for its academic standards but also for the culture of entrepreneurship, hard work, efficiency and responsibility it seeks to instill in its students, has motivated alumni from different regions of the country to promote the establishment of Tecnológico de Monterrey campuses in their home cities.

Through institutional programs known as research chairs, Tecnológico de Monterrey promotes the generation and transfer of knowledge by developing research and innovation projects, forming research groups, establishing scientific and technological relations with leading research centers in Mexico and abroad.
